Today felt heavier than usual.

Sitting here, waiting , contemplating and shocked for what I just heard from someone who has been more than a friend to me. Through some of my darkest days, she showed up. She listened when words were hard to find, stayed when life felt overwhelming, and became family not only to me but also a second mom to my daughter.

There is sadness in knowing things will change. There is shock in realizing that some chapters really do come to an end.

But there is also admiration.

Because this time, she is choosing herself. She is taking a leap of faith, stepping into the unknown, and trusting that there is more waiting for her on the other side of fear.

While my heart aches at the thought of not having her close by, I am grateful. Grateful for every coffee, every conversation, every tear she helped wipe away, every prayer, every moment she shared with us.

True friendship is not measured by distance. It is measured by the lives we help heal and the love we leave behind.

May God guide every step of your journey, my dear friend. The road ahead may be uncertain, but the One who goes before you is not.

And no matter where life takes us, a part of our story will always walk together. 🤍✨💜

🌷 My life may not look organized all the time, but every item here tells a story: choosing rest without guilt, finding joy in little things, and trusting God in the middle of the ordinary.

Fresh flowers within reach because beauty still matters, even on difficult days.
A plate nearby because some days, every step takes extra effort.
A warm drink waiting because comfort comes in simple moments.
And those slippers? They remind me that peace isn’t found in perfect days—it’s found in accepting where I am today.

Healing doesn’t always look like moving forward at full speed. Sometimes it looks like sitting quietly, surrounded by small blessings, and realizing that God’s presence is enough.
