Efteling Unveils a Summer Full of Entertainment for 2026
Visitors heading to Efteling this July and August can look forward to a summer packed with live entertainment, music, character encounters, and family-friendly performances throughout the park.
Efteling Summer Festival Takes Center Stage
The heart of the summer festivities can be found at the Speelweide, where the Efteling Summer Festival will take place daily. A large covered stage will host performances throughout the day, ensuring that guests can enjoy the entertainment regardless of the weather.
Children can sing and dance along to their favorite songs as DJ Donkey spins popular childrenâs hits, while The Red Noses Boogie Boys promise a lively concert full of sing-along classics. Guests can also enjoy performances by The Big Bad Wolf Band and the humorous dance competition Dancing with the Dolls, where the puppets take center stage.
Princess Pardijn will also be present throughout the festival, ready to meet guests and pose for photos.
New Entertainment Around Baron 1898 and Hooghmoed
The mining area surrounding Baron 1898 and the brand-new free-fall attraction Hooghmoed will come alive this summer with the arrival of the Klickers. These eccentric reporters share the latest news from Baron Gustave Hooghmoedâs mining operations in their own unique and entertaining way.
Fairytale Forest and Fata Morgana Receive New Shows
The Open-Air Theatre in the Fairytale Forest will debut a brand-new Fairytale Tree show this summer. Later in the day, visitors can enjoy An Evening with Wolf, a culinary-themed performance featuring the Wolfâs favorite treats and plenty of humor.
Over at Fata Morgana Square, guests can witness spectacular stunts performed by the guards, while the enormous Djinn once again makes appearances throughout the day. Efteling has also teased the arrival of another familiar face from the world of Fata Morgana, making its debut this summer.
Familiar Favorites Return
Many beloved Efteling characters will also be returning throughout the season.
Pardoes will welcome guests both at the main entrance and near Symbolica. Jokie & Jet invite visitors to dance at Carnival Festival Square, while the Dreamflight Elves can be found relaxing on their Elven Throne at Ton van de Ven Square. Guests can even have their faces painted nearby.
More Chaos, Music, and Mystery
Fans of Max & Moritz can head to Max and Moritz Square, where the cheerful brass band Anderberg Musikverein returns alongside Bakker KrĂźmel and Frau Schmetterling. Naturally, Max and Moritz themselves will once again be causing mischief throughout the area.
Near Danse Macabre, visitors may encounter the mysterious Huyveraars wandering through the Huyverwoud. These eerie figures roam the forest surrounding the attraction and add to its haunting atmosphere.
The Charlatan family will also be showcasing their dark and magical talents during Dr. Charlatanâs Cabaret Macabre. This musical spectacle promises bizarre illusions, strange experiments, and plenty of mysterious surprises for brave guests willing to step inside.
