As a young gabber, still wet behind the ears, I took my very first steps in the hardcore scene at the infamous It Holt Deinum during the legendary event “7 Gates to Hell.” It was unlike anything I had ever experienced. The bass shook the basement, the energy was pure madness, and somewhere on that dancefloor a fire was lit inside me.
Fast forward about 32–33 years later… who would have thought that the kid stomping in the crowd back then would one day return to that same iconic party, not as a visitor, but as a performer.
To me, this isn’t just another gig. This is full circle. This is history repeating itself, but from a whole new perspective. I get to stand behind the decks at the very party where it all started for me, where my love for hardcore and the gabber culture was born.
It’s an honor, a privilege, and honestly a dream come true to be part of 7 Gates to Hell after all these years. From the dancefloor to the stage… see you at 7 gates to Hell at Christmas, we’re going to make history all over again!
