FD reunites with Manchester’s own Fox for a single that’s both playful and profound. Built on crisp, rolling drums and a bubbling bassline, Trife Life carries jazzy flourishes and heartfelt lyrics that linger long after the track ends.

Fox: “On Trife Life I reflected on staying true to something deeper, something with meaning and integrity, something that feeds the soul not just the pocket.”

FD: “I always wanted to use this break, and the sound of it makes me think of jungle and those kind of tunes with big samples and chord progressions - a style that typifies some of that music that I love.”
