But these are genuinely things I’ve started to believe after living abroad, working the 9–5 and questioning what I actually want my life to look like.

I remember telling my dad as a child, “Dad, I'm not going to work 40 hours a week, I'm going to travel the world.”

His answer? “That's not possible, that's unrealistic, to you need to contribute to society”

I get his point, but we can also contribute without our life is being fully controlled by our jobs🤭
