Automatic sports timing was invented 40 years ago by the founders of MYLAPS. We develop products and services for measuring, publishing and analyzing racers’ and athletes’ training and race results. Back in 1982 we invented automatic sports timing. Thousands of events that previously used stopwatches and thumbs to keep track of results now rely on MYLAPS technology. We offer a wide range of timing

systems. They have been developed to suit the needs of professional timers, event organizers, track and club owners and federations, as well as individual racers and athletes. Our systems support registration, identify individual racers and athletes, determine their start, finish and intermediate times, collect performance data, calculate rankings and publish the results. Our products enhance the experience for all sports categories, from professional to amateur level, from small to high density events. Every year, over 20 million racers and athletes perform in MYLAPS-timed contests, such as: 24 Hours of Le Mans, Boston Marathon, CIK-FIA Karting World Championship, Giro d’Italia, FIA World Touring Car Championship, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Ironman Triathlon, IFMAR, NASCAR, Olympics, Super GT Japan, EFRA, FIM MX1/MX2 Motocross World Championship and WSBK World Superbikes, as well as countless amateur events worldwide.

SPORTEC 2025

Last week, our MYLAPS Japan team proudly participated in SPORTEC 2025, Japan’s largest sports and health exhibition. We showcased our advanced timing and race control solutions across active sports, motorsports, and horse racing.

With over 450 exhibitors and 40,000+ visitors, it was a fantastic opportunity to connect with global industry leaders and key decision-makers.

We recently had a successful test weekend last week at Ozarks International Raceway with the Drive NASA team, with participation from over four NASA regions.

Our in-car X2 RaceLink Club system ran in the Thunder Class on Saturday and Lightning Class on Sunday, delivering real-time alerts to drivers about on-track incidents and hazards. Race Control also benefited from live car tracking, enabling faster, more informed responses throughout the event.

The feedback from racers and race directors was overwhelmingly positive, and we’re thrilled with the results!

Huge thanks to Ozarks International Raceway and Drive NASA for the opportunity to demo our tech. Looking forward to what’s next!

🏇 Over the weekend, nearly 300 horses raced through the beautiful protected forests of West Friesland in the 2025 edition of the SGW Dijkgatbos Eventing tournament.

The event was timed with precision by MYLAPS Event Timing with ProChip technology, using the ProChip Smart Decoder at the start and finish lines, ProChip Plus transponders (attached to each rider's ankle), as well as FinishLynx camera for photo finish results. 🕒

This was the first cross country-race timed by MYLAPS Event Timing. Another exciting step forward in accurate, reliable timing for the world of equestrian sports!

The third round of the China Touring Car Championship (CTCC) took place at the end of June at Zhejiang Circuit, with each of the 77 participating cars equipped with TR2 Transponders, ensuring accurate and reliable timing data across the field. Digital flagging was handled by MYLAPS X2 LED Panels installed around the track, enhancing safety throughout the event.

Zhejiang Circuit features 25 MYLAPS Grade 2 LED Panels positioned trackside, along with 2 additional panels at the pit exit. These ultra-bright digital flags significantly enhance visibility for drivers and contribute to a safer and more professional racing environment.

Shout-out to our partner Racetime India for timing the 11th edition of the Bengaluru 10K Challenge on July 6! 🏃

Over 9,000 runners took on the 5K and 10K distances, all precisely timed using MYLAPS BibTag Timing Systems. 5 timelines for the 10K and 3 timelines for the 5K ensured accurate results powered by BibTag Smart Decoders.

Exciting races in Taiwan timed with MYLAPS BibTag technology by our new partner Cyuan-Tung! ⏲️

🚴‍♂️ 2025 Cycling Taiwan 100K Challenge – Taichung Stage
3,000 cyclists took part in this endurance race with distances of 50k and 100k. The race was timed with a Start/Finish timeline using the BibTag Smart Decoder and SideAntenna

🏃‍♀️ 2025 Zepro Run – Taoyuan
7,000 runners participated across 3K, 10K, and 21K distances, all timed with MYLAPS BibTag.
