Automatic sports timing was invented 40 years ago by the founders of MYLAPS. We develop products and services for measuring, publishing and analyzing racers’ and athletes’ training and race results. Back in 1982 we invented automatic sports timing. Thousands of events that previously used stopwatches and thumbs to keep track of results now rely on MYLAPS technology. We offer a wide range of timing

systems. They have been developed to suit the needs of professional timers, event organizers, track and club owners and federations, as well as individual racers and athletes. Our systems support registration, identify individual racers and athletes, determine their start, finish and intermediate times, collect performance data, calculate rankings and publish the results. Our products enhance the experience for all sports categories, from professional to amateur level, from small to high density events. Every year, over 20 million racers and athletes perform in MYLAPS-timed contests, such as: 24 Hours of Le Mans, Boston Marathon, CIK-FIA Karting World Championship, Giro d’Italia, FIA World Touring Car Championship, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Ironman Triathlon, IFMAR, NASCAR, Olympics, Super GT Japan, EFRA, FIM MX1/MX2 Motocross World Championship and WSBK World Superbikes, as well as countless amateur events worldwide.

Over 4 km through the Marais, waiters balanced trays with a croissant, water, and coffee; every spill added time penalties.

Can you spot the X2 RaceLink on the dashboard at the World Time Attack Challenge?

The World Time Attack Challenge took place earlier this month at Sydney Motorsports Park, using X2 Pro for timing accuracy up to 0.0001 seconds, and X2 RaceLinks for onboard flagging and live tracking.

Time Attack puts drivers head-to-head with the clock, where the ultimate goal is to set the fastest lap.

Last weekend, the Sydney Marathon officially debuted as an Abbott World Marathon Major, marking a historic milestone for the event. 🏃‍♀️

Our partner, MultiSport Australia, was there to capture the times of the 50,000 participants across the wekeend, including course records in both the men’s and women’s races, using MYLAPS BibTag technology.

🏃‍♀️ This past weekend, the 2025 Harbin Marathon took place in the capital of Heilongjiang, China’s northernmost province.

The race was timed with MYLAPS BibTag technology by our partner iRunner, and was the biggest event timed with the BibTag Smart Decoder in China since its release.

More than 35,000 runners joined from across China and around the world, with 15,000 tackling the full marathon and the remaining 20,000 taking on the half-marathon.

🏃‍♀️XLII Maratón Ciudad de México Telcel🏃‍♀️

The Mexico City Marathon took place yesterday with 30,000 participants taking part. The race was timed with MYLAPS BibTag technology by our partner Márcate.

Ethiopia swept the elite race titles with Tadu Abate winning the men’s race in 2:11:15 and Bekelech Gudeta topping the podium in the women’s division in 2:28:34.
