Pregnancy hurts. Labor hurts. Breastfeeding hurts. Watching your child cry hurts. The sleepless nights hurt. Serving everyone while being the last to be cared for hurts. Not being able to bathe peacefully hurts. Facing a difficult and restless day hurts. Not having time to do your nails or hair like before hurts. Not having time for yourself hurts.
Moms need support, not judgment. They need love, not criticism. A mother cares for everyone, but she also deserves to be cared for. Motherhood is often portrayed as tender and sweet, but the truth is, it’s incredibly challenging. Yes, it’s beautiful, especially the deep love a mother has for her child—a love that can endure anything.
Remember, no one is born a mother; motherhood is something we grow into, learning and evolving along the way.
