Test firing the Bohemen wood-fired this evening!

Later this summer we’ll build a deck for it by our but who can wait that long to try it out?!

We had a brief windstorm 💨 on Saturday afternoon. From the North, forecasts expected gusts of 20 m/s.

We were limbing and chipping previous blowdown as well as some 🌲 we felled to protect the shack. I heard this one crack and got to a safe space just in time to see it fall 😳

Before the roof project, this part of the house filled me with panic. It sagged. The slate shingles were falling off. The tin patches would fly off in storms.
