✨ Exciting update from Bwindi! ✨

The beds have finally arrived! 🎉 The atmosphere at the center is amazing, and the children are really looking forward to sleeping in their new beds tonight. 🛏️💙

Labour also managed to secure a bit more funding, so in total six new three-tier bunk beds have been provided – that’s 36 new beds that will be filled every night, giving the children the safety and comfort every child deserves each night! 🙏

A huge thank you again to everyone who contributed to the fundraiser – you’ve made this possible and brought so much joy and security to the children! 🥰

✨ Update from Bwindi ✨

I just received an update from Labour with photos — the local welders are already hard at work building the bunk beds! 🔨🛏️

The plan is for the beds to be in place for the children by the end of the week, and I am so incredibly grateful for all the support 💙

Dear friends ❤️

I want to send a heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you who contributed to this fundraiser 🙏✨

📍 Today I went back to the Bwindi Community Children Empowerment Programme to hand over a letter of gratitude to Labour, who is doing an incredible job for the children there. It was a deeply emotional moment 💌

Together we managed to raise 1452.30 USD – which means the centre can now buy 5 brand new triple bunk beds 🛏️💫

That gives 30 children a safe place to sleep at night. For them, this is life-changing – a bed is not just furniture, but safety, warmth, and the gift of a good night’s sleep 🌙💤

I will forever be grateful that you joined me in making a real difference ❤️

Labour and the children also wanted to thank you in their own way – with music, singing, and dancing 💃🕺

So here is their little greeting to you, from the less fortunate children of Bwindi, filled with love and gratitude 🌍✨

📍 I dag besøkte jeg Bwindi Community Children Empowerment Programme her i Uganda. De tar seg av 80 barn, og gjør en utrolig jobb med svært små ressurser.

Jeg fikk vite at de nylig klarte å kjøpe madrasser, men barna mangler fortsatt køyesenger – mange sover derfor rett på gulvet.

Jeg har lyst til å overraske dem med en gave 💝 Før jeg reiser videre om noen dager, ønsker jeg å kunne dra tilbake på formiddagen og overrekke en spleis fra oss alle til innkjøp av køyesenger.

🛏️ Hver seng gir to barn et trygt sted å sove – noe så grunnleggende som en god natts søvn kan gjøre en enorm forskjell.
