Slik and sånn both mean "like this", "such", or "this kind of" in English, but they are used a little differently.
🌟🌟 Slik = more formal
You often see slik in writing, news articles, official texts, and formal speech.
*Jeg har aldri sett en slik bil før. -I have never seen such a car before.
*Slike problemer krever tid og tålmodighet. -Such problems require time and patience.
🌟🌟 Sånn = more informal and common in everyday speech.
*Jeg har aldri sett en sånn bil før. - I have never seen a car like that before.
*Sånne problemer er vanlige. -Problems like that are common.

✅ Slik = more formal Norwegian, often used in writing.
✅ Sånn = everyday spoken Norwegian.
🌟🌟🌟 Sånt can also be used to mean "and things like that", "and similar things", or "and stuff like that." It refers to related things without naming them all.
* Vi snakket om jobb, lønn og sånt. - We talked about work, salary, and things like that.

It’s more common to hear someone say «jeg liker sånne filmer» than «jeg liker slike filmer» though they both are correct. One is more common in spoken form than the other.
