What does it really mean to communicate?

That’s the question we explored in a recent project with Haugesund Kommune and Klepp Kommune — shining a light on ASK (alternativ og supplerende kommunikasjon) and how it’s helping individuals express themselves. 🧠💡

This wasn’t your standard information film. Together, we built something more narrative-driven. A film designed not just to inform, but to move — to give the audience a sense of what ASK feels like in practice.

📖 We started by crafting a voiceover that could carry the story.
🎬 Then filmed three real-world settings where ASK is part of daily life.
🛠️ And wrapped it all in a film that brings heart, clarity, and connection.

Big thanks to the teams involved. We’re proud of this one.

Lights, camera, context. 🎬✨

Here’s a peek behind the scenes of our work on the ASK film — created in collaboration with Haugesund and Klepp Kommune to show how alternative and augmentative communication (ASK) is used in everyday life.

We filmed across a school 🏫, a home 🏡, and a local shop 🛒 to highlight the full spectrum of how ASK helps people connect, express, and navigate their world.

From scripting to camera setups in narrow aisles and busy classrooms, this one pushed us in all the right ways — technically and creatively. Grateful for a team that brings both precision and passion to projects like this.

It’s important to keep the creative wheels turning — to step into new scenarios, challenge ourselves, and grow both as professionals and storytellers. 🎬✨

That mindset led to us joining forces with Linn Irene Ingemundsen to produce her short film Typisk.
A quiet, quirky look at an ordinary morning gone slightly sideways: friction, a power outage, and two people who just can’t seem to connect. An everyday quarrel, served with dry humor and toasted bread. 🔌🍞

Shot over a single (very cold) winter Saturday on Kvitsøy, the project brought together both familiar and new faces — and reminded us why it’s so rewarding to explore stories off the beaten path.

From heartfelt interviews to candid moments in and around the kindergarten, this project was full of warmth, purpose, and people who genuinely care about what they do ❤️ Grateful to help bring their story to life 🙌
