This July has been the busiest of my life—only one day off all month! But I made the most of the stunning weather whenever I could. August is looking a little less hectic, and I’m really looking forward to some epic hikes with my best mate from the UK, who’s visiting in a couple of days.

A couple of weeks ago, I took off on a 23km hike deep into the mountains to test out my new ultralight sleep system from my partners at ⛺

The goal? Solitude, fresh air, and a peaceful night by a remote mountain lake. I didn’t see a single person in two days on this trail, but I did meet a very dedicated fan club of mosquitoes who were way too excited about my visit 😅

Despite the buzzing welcome party, I set up camp by the water, took in a golden sunset, went for a midnight swim, and crawled into the most comfortable sleep system I’ve ever used!

Massive shoutout to for making gear light enough for long treks, cosy enough for great sleep, and tough enough to handle the wilderness. Can’t wait to get back out there (maybe with a mosquito net next time 🦟)

A few days ago, I experienced one of those rare moments when I felt terrified for my drone as I flew it through a rain cloud. I saw a double rainbow forming this incredible shape, and I couldn't resist continuing to capture the moment! Sometimes, I need to remind myself that all of the expensive gear we creators use is just tools and that I must take risks to capture such moments like this 🙌🏻

This also reminds me that I really need to renew my DJI Care Refresh 😂
