I am a Captain and an avid explorer with a deep passion for aviation, maritime operations, automobiles, photography, travel, cutting-edge technology, and a steadfast commitment to service excellence. From a very young age, I’ve been drawn to capturing the world around me—especially the things I love most. That usually means anything with an engine: from tiny gadgets to massive ships, airplanes, ca

rs, and buses. If it moves, makes noise, or has a mechanical heartbeat, chances are I’ve pointed a camera at it. My main focus lies in two worlds: maritime and aviation. When I’m not at sea in my professional life, I dedicate much of my time to aviation—whether it’s photographing aircrafts, exploring airports, or traveling to far-off destinations. For me, travel isn’t just about the places—it’s about the stories. I thrive on discovering new horizons, embracing challenges, and connecting with people from all walks of life. As snow falls outside my window right now, this shot pulls me back to the season of colours.

Right now, all I see is a world painted in grey, white, and black: the winter palette.

But this image reminds me that brighter days hopefully return, carrying their hues like old friends stepping back aboard.

Captain’s Log, March 23rd, 2025.

Eight months have passed since this moment was captured, a frame I never planned to share… yet it calls me back now.

There they sat: two sister ships, berthed side by side, keeping silent watch as the final chill of the season gave way to the promise of summer. The air carried that familiar hush before the bustle: the calm tide before the colorful months of sailing truly begin.

In my life, Crystal Cruises remains the most solid, professional, and genuinely giving employer I’ve ever had the privilege to serve. Some may joke about the “Crystal Family,” but truthfully, it was a family: one built on respect, excellence, and genuine care. To this day, I still feel a deep affection for everyone I had the honor of working alongside on board.

My colleagues there were not just professionals. They were remarkable people who supported one another and always encouraged each other to bring out our very best, every single day, in every corner of the operation.

Many of them have devoted much of their careers, even their lives, to those ships, and it shows in their pride, skill, and heart.

I’m truly thrilled to see Crystal sailing confidently into the future with two new ships on the horizon. May they continue to prosper and grow as a strong, elegant brand — and always remember the passion, integrity, and humanity that brought them this far.

Crystal’s new era begins with steel cutting in May 2026 and​ keel laying in December 2026, marking the start of our first​ new build in 25 years.​

My life, my photographic journey

While my passion is aviation, my profession is to be a Captain. This page is the tale of my life on my photographic journey. Since I was a very young boy, I have always loved taking pictures of the things that I love the most, and have an interest in. In general terms, that means everything that has some kind of engine inside of it: from tiny gadgets to large ships and airplanes, cars and buses. If it’s got an engine, or it’s a gadget, I love them all. Probably the main focus for me is the maritime- and the aviation industry. During my “off-time” from working on ships, the vast majority of my time goes to the aviation industry, and traveling to exotic places. My passion is to experience new places, meet new challenges head on, and to both meet, and understand other people’s stories.
