We still hope to resolve this matter and are optimistic that our community's researchers will be able to attend the event. Also the concerned ministry try their every effort to facilitate the visa process.

"I only realized the significance of holding a passport from one of the bottom 10 countries on the World Passport Index when other countries decline to grant visas for attending an event.
Being invited by Facebook in order to participate in a fully funded cybersecurity conference and a live hacking event in South Korea, visa was denied for me and my friends Rikesh and Mänôz, despite having all the necessary documents for visa process. Among all the top 60+ invited researchers from 25+ different countries, Nepal became the only country whose visa application was denied. Lost an opportunity to meet with fellow researchers from Facebook, Google and Qualcomm.
I hope that in the near future, the Nepalese passport will gain significant trust, enabling its citizens to effortlessly enter various countries worldwide. 🤞"
