1. Pashupatinath Temple (Kathmandu):
This is the most sacred Shiva temple in Nepal. Dedicated to Lord Shiva in his form as Pashupatinath, the temple is a major center of faith for Hindus around the world. It is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During the Maha Shivaratri festival, millions of devotees gather here.
2. Muktinath Temple (Mustang):
This is a major pilgrimage site dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Both Hindus and Buddhists revere it deeply. Located at an altitude of about 3,800 meters above sea level, the temple is believed to be a place of salvation (moksha).

4. Guhyeshwari Temple (Kathmandu):

This fierce form of Lord Shiva is represented in a large stone idol located in the Basantapur Durbar Square. It is also regarded as a symbol of truth and justice.

This site is believed to be a place of penance of Lord Shiva and is one of the major pilgrimage destinations in Nepal. It is also a center of spiritual practice for the followers of the Gorakhnath tradition.
