"Gosainthan (or Gosaithan),Kavrepalanchok"
Gosainthan sits on a forested hill right at the border of Dhulikhel and Banepa. It is highly popular among local residents from both towns as a short hiking, picnic, and morning workout destination. The hill sits at an altitude of roughly 1,700 meters above sea level. It features a popular Hindu temple area dedicated to Gorakhnath and Lord Shiva, as well as the prominent Gosainthan View Tower.A quiet temple area sits right beneath the trees. It sees a large influx of Hindu worshippers and holy sadhus, particularly during the festival of Janai Purnima.

"Aarati - Flame of devotion, ocean of peace."
In the Sanatan Hindu tradition, offering Aarati (performing Aarati) to God and receiving blessings from its flame hold special religious, spiritual, and scientific significance. This is an extremely important and sacred ritual performed at the end of a worship (Puja) or ritual. If any mistakes or deficiencies occur in the mantras or methods during worship, performing Aarati at the end makes the Puja complete. It is considered a symbol of removing ignorance from the mind. Aarati is waved to express respect, love, and gratitude toward God for this beautiful creation and life He has given. A type of divine positive energy (divine consciousness) is contained within the flame of the Aarati waved before God. It is believed that when the Aarati is over and we place both palms over the flame and touch our eyes and head, that divine energy and God's blessings enter our body. The sound of the conch shell, bell, and collective hymns played during Aarati creates positive waves in the brain, which reduces stress and provides mental peace.
