Project 100 Minds, an initiative of DEV Community Nepal, is inviting applications for leadership positions in Bagmati Province for Cohort I (2026).

We are selecting dedicated and capable student leaders for the following roles:

• Lead and coordinate a province-level student initiative
• Gain structured leadership and management experience
• Represent Project 100 Minds at your campus
• Work closely with a national student community
• Contribute to skill development and technology awareness initiatives
• Build long-term impact within your academic ecosystem

• Open to students from all academic disciplines

Former Miss Nepal Shrinkhala Khatiwada, who faced criticism and backlash during the Nepo Kids trend and the Gen Z protests, has finally spoken on Twitter.

She had previously unpublished all her social media pages following the controversy, but she has now slowly started making her presence on social media again. After returning to TikTok, she has now become active on X as well. She wrote, “ Nepal is a rapidly urbanizing country. With over 65% of its population living in municipalities, urban development must move to the center of national policy. Beyond roads, water, and proper waste management, we need green public parks, reliable public transit, and walkable streets.

Transit + parks + walkability are the backbone of livable cities, and its hightime we invest in these necessities. “

Bhumika Shrestha has made history by becoming the first transgender woman nominated as a proportional representation (PR) candidate for the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) in Nepal.

Following the party’s landslide victory in the March 5 general elections, where RSP secured 182 seats, Shrestha is now set to enter the House of Representatives. This milestone marks an important step toward the inclusion of gender and sexual minorities in Nepal’s political landscape.

Her nomination is being celebrated as a transformative moment, signaling a broader effort toward inclusivity in Nepalese politics.

By placing a transgender woman in Parliament, the RSP is paving the way for greater visibility and participation of marginalized communities in decision-making, setting a example for future political representation in the country.

यदि हामीले अहिले नै समाजको सोच, संस्कार र चेतना परिवर्तन गरेनौं भने यस्तो घटना दोहोरिरहनेछ।

यदि अहिलेको कानुनले यस्तो अपराधमा न्याय दिन सक्दैन भने कानुन परिवर्तन सम्भव छ।
तर अब यस्ता घटनामा दोषीहरूले कुनै न कुनै बहाना बनाएर उम्किने अवस्था अन्त्य हुनैपर्छ।
