A UN Commission of Inquiry has released a damning new report claiming Israeli forces continue to commit genocide in Gaza by intentionally targeting Palestinian children, causing unprecedented death, injury, and trauma.
The commission, which previously found Israel guilty of genocide, says military operations persist despite international outcry. Israel strongly denies the allegations, calling them biased and unfounded.
The findings have sparked fresh global debate amid the ongoing conflict.

North Korea has commissioned its largest warship yet — the 5,000-ton destroyer Choe Hyon — as Kim Jong Un accelerates plans for a nuclear-armed navy.

In a high-profile ceremony at Nampo port, Kim hailed the vessel as ending decades of naval stagnation and ordered the rapid construction of more large warships, including nuclear-capable ones, to project power against the US and South Korea.

In a major show of naval strength, North Korea has revealed its biggest warship to date: a powerful 5,000-metric-ton destroyer that leader Kim Jong Un claims can carry nuclear-capable missiles. The vessel signals a sharp expansion of Pyongyang’s navy over the next five years.
This latest development raises fresh tensions as the regime boosts its maritime military power.

In a stunning bipartisan move, the Senate passed a war powers resolution directing President Trump to end military action against Iran or seek congressional approval—marking the first time both chambers have approved such a measure. Four Republicans joined Democrats in the vote.
Though largely symbolic and facing likely veto, the vote signals growing congressional frustration over the unpopular conflict and reasserts lawmakers’ role in war decisions.

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has declared that Pyongyang will “thoroughly exercise its position as a nuclear weapons state” and rapidly expand its arsenal, calling it the only way to confront an “unpredictable and complicated” global security situation.

Speaking at a Workers’ Party meeting, Kim blamed the US and South Korea for heightening tensions on the Korean Peninsula through joint military drills and nuclear posture.
“Steadily expand and strengthen the nuclear forces… this is the most correct and unique way,” KCNA reported.

Tensions on the peninsula remain high with no signs of de-escalation.
