Here’s Part 2 of uploading my photo memories from 2016.

I’m Ritesh Katwal—not a pro photographer, just someone who enjoys clicking whatever catches my eye.
This photo was taken one calm evening in 2016. I looked up, saw the sun setting behind the rooftops, and a bird flying by. I zoomed in using my Canon PowerShot SX740 HS and captured it. I didn’t expect it to turn out this beautiful.

This moment reminds me how sometimes the best photos happen by accident—no planning, no posing, just being present.

Welcome to Day 1, Part 1 of my throwback photo journey!
I’m Ritesh Katwal, not a professional photographer—but someone who finds joy in capturing life’s ordinary yet meaningful moments. This video is the beginning of a nostalgic series where I share old pictures from my hard drive, starting with some unforgettable clicks from 2016.

One of the highlights in this reel is a frame from Kukur Tihar, Nepal’s heartwarming festival dedicated to dogs. It’s a day when we show our furry friends love and gratitude—with tika, marigold garlands, and, in this case, a delicious biscuit. This moment wasn’t staged—it was real, joyful, and pure.

These photos are imperfect, but they tell real stories—snapshots of a younger me, a different world, and memories that still make me smile. I hope they bring you a bit of that same joy too.

The stunning pictures of Mount Gaurishankar captured from Sailung's Great Wall with my camera were breathtaking, even with just a normal lens. Witnessing such beauty from the heights of Sailung made me completely forget the exhaustion of the hike.
