✊🚩 Workers’ Solidarity Beyond Borders
🇮🇹🇵🇸 Italy Rises for Palestine – Faces State Repression

Tens of thousands of workers, students, and common people in Italy poured into the streets in response to a national strike called by militant unions in solidarity with the Global Sumud Flotilla – the largest attempt to break the criminal blockade of Gaza.

From Rome to Milan, chants echoed demanding:
➡️ An immediate end to the ongoing Israeli genocide against Palestinians
➡️ Protection for humanitarians, activists, journalists, and health workers aboard the flotilla
➡️ Italy’s government to cut all ties with Israel and stop enabling imperialist war crimes

But instead of listening to the people, the Italian state unleashed violent repression against the strikers and protesters — proving once again that capitalist governments stand with genocidal regimes, not with justice.

🌍✊ The struggle in Italy shows us: the fight for Palestine is the fight of the international working class. From Nepal to Italy, from the factories to the streets — solidarity is our weapon!

Kathmandu, Nepal – The United States, under President Donald Trump, is aggressively pressuring its European and NATO allies to enact a sweeping 100% tariff on imports from China and India, a move Beijing has condemned as "economic coercion" and warned it will meet with firm retaliation. The US justification for the proposed tariffs, which would effectively block these nations from Western markets, is their continued import of Russian oil, which the Trump administration alleges funds the war in Ukraine....

Nepal, the youngest republic in the world, has had a troubled history with plenty of dramatic transformation in the recent years. From being a monarchy to the status of a democratic republic in 2008, Nepal then went on to forge an inclusive constitution in 2015, promising a new era of stability and progress. This promise remains to be fulfilled. September 4, 2025, ban on social media ignited a Gen-Z-led insurrection, but this social media protest was merely the ignition that set the cumulative spark....

Nepal Reaches Landmark Agreement Amid Gen Z-led Protests

According to the latest agreement between the President of Nepal and representatives of the Gen Z youth movement, several historic decisions have been made to address the country’s ongoing political crisis:

1. The Federal Parliament has been dissolved(agreed).(Will be formal dissolved after new PMONepal will submit it to the president)

2. Former Chief Justice Sushila Karki has been appointed as the new Prime Minister.

3. Prime Minister-designate Sushila Karki is scheduled to take the oath of office today at 9:00 AM.

This decision marks a dramatic turning point in Nepal’s political landscape. Sushila Karki, who served as the first female Chief Justice of the Supreme Court (2016–2017), is widely respected for her integrity and stance against corruption. Her selection as Prime Minister has been interpreted as a move towards restoring stability and rebuilding public trust in governance.

The agreement follows weeks of intense youth-led demonstrations, often referred to as the Gen Z movement in Nepal, demanding accountability, good governance, and an end to entrenched corruption. The dissolution of parliament and appointment of a non-partisan leader were seen as concessions to protesters’ calls for sweeping political reforms.

Observers view this as an unprecedented moment in Nepal’s democratic history, with hopes that the new leadership will guide the nation towards stability, good governance, and stronger democratic practices.
