📢 Call for Participants: Join a New Online Training on Media and Information Literacy (MIL)!

As the lead UN agency promoting (MIL), UNESCO continues to support young people in navigating today’s complex digital environment.

UNESCO has contributed to the development of a new online MIL training course, led by the North-South Centre of the Council of Europe which explores MIL as a core pillar of human rights education and information integrity.

🎯 Who should apply?
Young people engaged in civil society organizations, young journalists, media practitioners, and anyone eager to build new digital and critical thinking skills.

📅 Duration: 4 weeks (2 - 29 March)

🎓 Participants receive a certificate

Every voice matters for biodiversity in Nepal 🌿

Nepal has taken an important step toward global biodiversity action. The Ministry of Forests and Environment (MoFE), with support from UNDP Nepal, has published the draft Seventh National Report (7NR) to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) for stakeholder review and feedback.

The report captures Nepal’s progress, achievements, and ongoing efforts in biodiversity conservation and sustainable management.

📢 Stakeholders are invited to share feedback by 24 February 2026, ahead of the final submission to CBD.
