Tech Journos Forum (TJF), in collaboration with the UNESCO Office in Kathmandu, organized an engaging session for its member journalists on the topic "AI in Journalism: Trends, Ethics, and Opportunities".

The session aimed to explore the transformative impact of artificial intelligence on the field of journalism, focusing on emerging trends, ethical considerations, and the opportunities AI presents for media professionals.

The session reinforced TJF's commitment to empowering journalists with the knowledge and tools necessary to adapt to technological advancements in the media industry.

Michael Croft, Head of Office and UNESCO Representative to Nepal also interacted with journalists during the event.

Both sides agreed to further strengthen the collaboration in the near future, with a shared commitment to empowering journalists and addressing the challenges posed by technological advancements in the industry.

प्रविधि पत्रकार मञ्च र नास आईटीबीच सहकार्य

सूचना प्रविधि क्षेत्रमा कलम चलाउने पत्रकारहरूको साझा संस्था प्रविधि पत्रकार मञ्च (टीजेएफ) र नेपाल एशोशिएसन फर सफ्टवेयर एण्ड आईटी सर्भिसेस कम्पनीज् (नास आईटी) बीच सहकार्य भएको छ ।

मंगलबार काठमाडौंमा आयोजना भएको एक कार्यक्रममा नास आईटी र टीजेएफबीच रणनीतिक सहकार्य गर्ने सम्झौतापत्रमा हस्ताक्षर भएको हो ।

उक्त सम्झौतापत्रमा नास आईटीका अध्यक्ष रिचन श्रेष्ठ र प्रविधि पत्रकार मञ्चका अध्यक्ष उमेश पौडेलले हस्ताक्षर गरेका हुन् ।

नेपालको आईटी इकोसिस्टको विकास र प्रवर्धन गर्नका लागि ज्ञान आदान प्रदान, क्षमता अभिवृद्धि र जनचेतनामा काम गर्ने गरी दुबा संस्थाबीच सहकार्य गरिएको छ ।
नास आईटीका अध्यक्ष रिचन श्रेष्ठले नेपालको आईटी उद्योगलाई बलियो बनाउन र सशक्तिकरण गर्न यो सहकार्य महत्त्वपूर्ण हुने बताए ।

यस्ता प्रविधि पत्रकार मञ्चका अध्यक्ष उमेश पौडेलले आईटी क्षेत्र र नागरिकबीचको खाडललाई कम गर्न नास आईटीसँग सहकार्य गर्न पाउँदा उत्साहित भएको जानकारी दिदा डिजिटल इकोसिस्टमलाई अगाडि बढाउन यसले ठूलो भूमिका खेल्ने बताए ।

प्रविधि पत्रकार मञ्चले आज सञ्चार तथा सूचना प्रविधि मन्त्री रेखा शर्मासँग भेटघाट गरेको छ। मन्त्रालयमा भएको भेटका क्रममा सूचना प्रविधि क्षेत्रको विकासमा सरकारले गरिरहेका प्रयत्नका बारेमा मन्त्री शर्माले प्रकाश पार्नु भयो।

साथै भेटमा टीजीएफको कार्यसमितिका पदाधिकारी तथा सदस्यहरुले विकसित घटनाक्रम र मुद्दाहरुका बारेमा जिज्ञासा तथा प्रश्न गर्नुभएको थियो।

यसका साथै आगामी दिनमा सूचना प्रविधि क्षेत्रको विकासका लागि मन्त्रालय र टीजेएफबीच प्रभावकारी सहकार्य गरेर अघि बढ्ने समझदारी बनेको छ।
