"सामाजिक सञ्जाल बन्द गरेर भ्रष्टाचार रोकिन्न, बरु अझ लुकाइन्छ।
फेसबुक, इन्स्टाग्राम, एक्स, लिंक्डइन, रेडिट, युट्युब जस्ता ठूला प्लेटफर्महरूलाई सरकारले दर्ता नगरेको बहानामा प्रतिबन्ध लगाएको कदम–सर्वोच्चको आदेशपछि आएको भए पनि–जनताको अधिकारलाई कुचिएको र असन्तुष्ट आवाजलाई दबाउने प्रयासको रूपमा व्यापक आलोचना भइरहेको छ।

नेपालसँग अभाव प्रतिभाको होइन, अवसरको हो। हाम्रो देशमा पर्याप्त दक्ष सफ्टवेयर डेभलपर, नेटवर्क इन्जिनियर, र क्रिएटिभ युवाहरू छन् जसले विश्वस्तरीय नेपाली सामाजिक सञ्जाल प्लेटफर्म निर्माण गर्न सक्छन्। सुरक्षित, उत्तरदायी, र हाम्रो लागि बनेको नयाँ प्लेटफर्म बनाउन सक्ने क्षमता हामीसँग छ।

अब समय छ नवप्रवर्तन रोज्ने, दमन होइन। सूचना रोकेर होइन, सिर्जनशीलतालाई अघि बढाएर मात्र नेपाललाई डिजिटल रूपमा सशक्त बनाउन सकिन्छ।"

"Squashing social media doesn’t stop corruption—it hides it.
Instead of banning platforms like Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Reddit, and YouTube for missing government registration deadlines, we should be demanding transparency from our leaders. The recent move to block 26 major platforms—following non-compliance under a Supreme Court directive—is being criticized as censorship, not protection of rights .

We don’t lack talent—Nepal is full of smart software developers and network engineers ready to build a world-class Nepali social media platform. We have creators, innovators, and digital entrepreneurs who can craft something safe, accountable, and made for us.

Let’s choose innovation, not suppression. Rather than silencing dissent or obstructing information, let Nepali tech talent shine by creating a platform that we own, control, and trust."
