放牧地で草を刈っている女性二人をカメラは追っていく、ただそれだけの映像である。にも拘わらず瞠目してしまうのは、“日常”を捉えるようとする作り手の視点があるからに他ならない。ドキュメンタリーにおける“日常”とは、モンタージュ（作為）ではなく、カメラを持った作り手の思想によって、浮き上がってくる。

The camera simply follows two women cutting grass on a pasture—nothing more. And yet, it is utterly captivating. What makes it so striking is the filmmaker’s perspective, their way of capturing the “everyday.” In documentary film, the “everyday” doesn’t emerge through montage (or manipulation), but rather through the filmmaker’s philosophy—what they choose to see and how they choose to see it through the lens.

Synopsis:

The film offers a fascinating and hypnotic ethnographic study of the filmmaker's hometown, punctuated by the evolution of the approaching storm. Providing a commentary on climate change, as well as how life staggeringly must go on, even as the rain pours and the streets flood, the film is not only a portrait of place, but also of the resilience of people.​
