Dear Gen-Z brothers and sisters,
Lots of love and affection.
The street movement you initiated to raise your voices against the widespread corruption, delays, the lavish lifestyles of leaders’ children, restrictions on social media, and the administrative system in the country has shown an unprecedented result in political history that has never been witnessed in the world until today. To give this result a concrete form through constitutional processes may bring many difficulties. To overcome these challenges, all Gen-Z groups are actively engaged in discussions, unity, conclusions, and legal consultations for the formation of the upcoming interim government. Please do not delay — the sooner, the better.
Finally, after this historic transformation led by the Gen-Z group, I would like to present here my personal views (opinions) regarding the agenda and political structure that the Gen-Z group must now take forward. I also request you to provide your feedback.
1) Conduct a high-level investigation committee regarding the burning of some highly important government buildings during the two-day street protests, and the killing of innocent Gen-Z youths by gunfire, and take action against those responsible.
2) Stop all high-level constitutional appointments of the government.
3) Investigate the property of leaders and officials who have accumulated wealth unnaturally.
4) Ban all types of employee unions and organizations.
5) Dissolve the provincial assemblies.
6) The President and Prime Minister must be directly elected by the people.
7) Institutionalize the younger generation of the former monarchy as Vice President.
8) Prohibit any re-appointment of retired former employees in any government body of Nepal.
9) Set age and tenure limits for political party representatives.
10) Determine a minimum educational qualification for political party representatives.
Jai Nepal – Jai Gen-Z!
