We are delighted to present the FRAME Cover Photo Award to Santosh Basnet, whose beautiful photograph of an Indian Peafowl female with her hatchlings, was selected as the cover image for the second issue of FRAME Magazine.

The FRAME Cover Photo Award recognizes a photograph that not only stands out visually but also reflects the spirit of storytelling that FRAME seeks to celebrate.

Along with a Certificate of Recognition, Santosh received an exciting gift from our award partner, Xiaomi Nepal.

We are excited to announce that FRAME Magazine Issue 02 | Apr–Jun 2026 is now live.

This issue brings together an inspiring collection of photographs, visual stories, and perspectives from photographers across Nepal. From the high valleys of Manang and the ancient shrine of Shesh Narayan to the vibrant streets of Bouddha and the living traditions of Pashupatinath, each story reflects the power of photography to observe, connect, and tell meaningful stories.

As PhotoWalk Nepal enters its twentieth year, this issue also celebrates nineteen years of building a community around photography, learning, and visual storytelling.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to every photographer, writer, contributor, partner, and supporter who helped make this issue possible.
