खस हिमालका आदिवासी हुन्। 🏔️
The Khas are indigenous to the mid/western Himalayas.
The Mahabharata named the Khas thousands of years ago. Pliny recorded us. The Rajatarangini of Kashmir wrote of Khas kings ruling these hills.
Then from Sinja Valley in Jumla, the Khas (क्षेत्री) built the Khas Malla empire. The Dullu pillar names our kings Nagaraj. Krachalla’s copper plate, 1223. Ripu Malla on the Lumbini Ashoka Pillar, 1312. From Sinja the Khas Malla ruled across the Karnali, into Uttarakhand, up to western Tibet. The Tibetans called us Yatse. ⚔️
