वर्तमान समय में संस्कृति एवं साहित्य को जनसाधारण तक व्यापक स्तर पर पहुँचाना एक बड़ी चुनौती है। इन्हीं चुनौतियों को पार कर इस दिशा की ओर किये गए अग्रणी प्रयासों में नाम आता है - 'आधारशिला' पत्रिका तथा 'आधारशिला फाउंडेशन' का। पिछले तीस वर्षों से पत्रिका के संपादक श्री दिवाकर भट्ट के नेतृत्व में संचालित यह प्रयास किसी उपलब्धि से कम नहीं। भाषा एवं संस्कृति कल्याण की इन्हीं पहलों के लिए श्री दिवाकर भट्ट को कई प्रतिष्ठित सम्मानों से सम्मानित किया जा चुका है। यदि आप भी 'आधारशिला' के एक छोटी सी शुरुआत से एक अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय संगठन बनने तक के प्रेरक सफर तथा श्री दिवाकर भट्ट के विचारों से रूबरू होना चाहते हैं, तो ज़रूर पढ़िए - 'Techniche अंक 15' में प्रकाशित 'एक मुलाकात, दिवाकर भट्ट के साथ' में उनके साथ साक्षात्कार के कुछ अंश।

“It isn’t the mountains ahead to climb that wear you out; it’s the pebble in your shoe.”- With such fortitude lived Muhammad Ali, the lyrical heavyweight showman who thrilled the globe with his sublime boxing style, unpredictable wit, and gentle generosity. The entire world mourned the demise of Muhammad Ali on 3 June 2016. He belonged to everyone; his impact recognized no continent, no language, no colour, and no ocean. Ali created the mould for the modern athlete and promptly broke it.
And if you consider feats of athleticism to be trifling in the grand scheme of things, there is a chance you will still find Ali compelling. Because, with Ali, athletic feats were only a part of the whole.
