'ELC BECOMES A DATING SITE'

People have always needed to live in communities for survival, so being part of a community is wired into us. When you meet this need, whether through an intimate relationship, a network of friends, or a more formalized group, you will feel a sense of well-being.

But when a community isn't open to the idea of having an intimate relationship within the same group after abiding by and respecting it for over 8 years, is this a major change and transformation to make the ELC community more open and inclusive, or are these individuals disobeying and challenging the norm of ELC?

On the back, if this was real or a product of your imagination, this is alarming, ELC. Over the years, you have been disallowing your members to be in a relationship within the group, but this shift may not be an ideal change on our end. We believe ELC should be taking action over this matter.

It's important to be open and inclusive but we have to uphold to the traditions, values, history and norms that make ELC the ELC we know today.

'A DELIBERATELY UNNECESSARY MESSAGE'

This afternoon, an urgent meeting was held by the Corporation's Chairwoman and Highest Administration, Hera Montreux.

In the discussion, she talked about following the school rules and regulations, being a good student, and orienting what is acceptable or not. She also laid down new ELC Codes of Conduct and ELC: School's Disciplinary Guidelines. These guidelines were designed to serve both the company and the members, and they are constructive guidelines for ELCians to reach their full intellectual, social, and emotional capabilities.

But as the meeting went by, a deliberate message was sent pertaining to that 'barangay' which our team saw as unnecessary. "Mang-away na kayo sa taga ibang barangay, huwag lang ng taga ELC na gaya ninyo", she said.

In a single sentence, you're contradicting yourself. How can you be nonbelligerent and also encourage war or argument? That's not how it should be. As members, we've seen all of this and we are tired to be in an infinite loop, an unending situation you can not move on about.

After hours of meeting, she wrapped up her discussion by saying, "Please remember the rules and end silly things. I will be more strict, I swear."

Take this as constructive criticism. We mean no harm. We just want to roleplay peacefully just like what was written in the codes and guidelines that you wrote yourself.

'BREAKING THE RULE?'

On Saturday night, Nirvanna Aldea sent a warning message for the reason that ELItes were constantly leaving the group chat.

For a striving school, active students are needed to make the group prosperous. But yesterday, 2 of their active members departed, namely, Blaine Neville and Axle Neville. But, who really is/are at fault?

On the 7th day of March 2023, both Blaine and Axle sent letters to their excuse letter group chat saying they would leave. In the letters, they said, "I will be leaving ELI and ELC due to my operator's hectic schedule. I need to prioritize things responsibly. I don't have much time to do roleplay". A few days until today, no words from the Admins or the president, Nirvanna who's the highest active officer for the EXO-L INTERNATIONAL for now, saying allowing them to leave or not.

Who's at fault? The one who did not properly perform his/her job or the one leaving without approval?

What are your thoughts?

'QUIT BEING HYPOCRITE'

Meissah Galilea Montreux shared on a facebook post her disappointment and jeremiad words to certain person or group of people after the recently concluded happening.

On her post, she talked about herself that she knew her attitudes and characters. She said that she was mistreated in certain ways.

"Ilang beses niyo na ngang ginawa sa'kin to? I lost count kasi. And yes, bastos ako bakit ba? Sa dami ng naranasan ko dito ngayon lang ako maglalabas ng sama ng loob. Ngayon lang ako naglabas ng sama ng loob, bakit? Kasi tinalo niyo pa si rold kung maka judge kayo. Ang p-perfect niyo kasi eh, diba?" she said.
