Here's some more images awarded in the Portrait category of the NZ Amateur Photography Awards recently hosted by the NZIPP - the New Zealand Institute of Professional Photography. WHen I revisit some of my older images, it reminds me how much I enjoy doing portrait photography - slighty more engaging than flowers!!

I was delighted to receive a Silver award for my image Whispers in Water, entered in the NZAPA - New Zealand Amateur Photography Awards recently hosted by the NZIPP. I also received some other awards for many imaghes, but these were all subitted in the Open category.

I've been slowly catching up on some editing from our recent holiday. These are some ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) photos made while in the glorious Outer Hebrides, specifically on the Isle of Harris. The colours are untouched in the editing process. The water and sands look more like the Caribbean than Scotland!!!
