Not the type of bream I was after.
Flicking a 3.75” Zman with a 1/16th oz head in 1.8m of water searching for bream, quietly hopping the lure away when suddenly my Ultra light jabbers rod buckled over and the exist 2500 went screaming!
Experts still insist that snapper are in decline, but when they are entering rivers and displacing bream you have to wonder.
This 70cm snapper gave an amazing fight on PE 0.6 and 6lb leader! Surprised the jig head held up!
Good thing about a capture in chest deep water is after a no hands un hook and the fish back in 30seconds survival is guaranteed!
