This past weekend I had the privilege of speaking at the biggest fitness expo in Australia.⁣

It was a milestone moment in my journey.⁣

Back in 2017 I was a broke PT trying to figure out how to get more clients.⁣

I did everything you could think of.⁣

I handed out fliers.⁣

I walked around the mall talking to people.⁣

I called members offering free trials.⁣

I even went door to door knocking (don't ever do that!).⁣

Nothing was working and I nearly gave up and went back to the 9-5 grind!⁣

But from all of those experiences, each one shaped me and led me to where I am today.⁣

Thankfully I decided to bet on myself and keep going.⁣

Not long after those moments I launched Generation Dad Bod where I helped over 5,000 Dads transform their lives.⁣

This weekend in Sydney was a pinch me moment because it reminded me of where it all started, where I nearly gave up, and how far the journey has brought me.⁣

What made it even more special was everything that surrounded the event.⁣

I sat on a sales panel and delivered a workshop to gym owners on how to generate free leads without ads.⁣

I met a client in person after years of only connecting on Zoom.⁣

Two of my mates turned up to support me (thank you so much)⁣

And my Queen was there by my side the whole way (love you!).⁣

Thank you to everyone who has supported me on this journey and helped make moments like this possible.⁣

At the event I shared a tip that might inspire others to keep going for what they want.⁣

I said this.⁣

Look back at a time where you nearly gave up but you kept going.⁣

What strengths did you tap into in that moment?⁣

Now use those same strengths to move towards your dreams.

The moment you want to quit is often the moment just before your breakthrough.

Magdalena enrolled a $900 client on Friday.⁣

I finally got to meet one of my clients in person!

And honestly, it was so cool to meet him after all this time.⁣

It opens doors to friendships, conversations, and transformations across the globe.⁣

At the end of the discussion I was asked a question: “If you could give business owners one tip to improve sales performance through better coaching, what would it be?”

My answer was: Teach your team how to coach people in a sales conversation.

Too many businesses still push outdated sales tactics that rely on guilt or pressure.

That approach only creates resistance and can lead to buyers remorse.

Instead ask questions that empower people to move forward with confidence.

For example you might say, “Think back to a time you nearly gave up but pushed through. What strengths did you draw on, to help you move forward?”

Then link that moment of resilience to the decision they are making today.

The most effective salespeople do not force anyone to buy.

They guide people to reconnect with their own strength and use this to help them commit to their goals on their own terms.

That is how real coaching turns into lasting sales success.

I woke up to this message this morning.⁣

I am always grateful for messages like this because it shows how quickly things can change for PTs when they get the right focus.⁣

Ever had a sales call where you managed the price objection but they still said no?⁣

You handled the price.⁣

You explained the value.⁣

They nodded along.⁣

And then came the classic line… “I’ll think about it.”⁣

Here is the problem.⁣

Most trainers only focus on the first objection that comes up.⁣

They never check to see if there is anything else holding the person back.⁣

That “I’ll think about it” could really mean:⁣

How to feel more alive...⁣

On a group call with my weight loss we explored the power of values.⁣

I asked them to identify what they truly value in life.⁣

Then I asked them what needs to happen for each of those values to be met.⁣

For example, if someone said growth, what do they believe has to happen for them to feel they are growing.⁣

Do they need to learn something new.⁣
Do they need to overcome challenges.⁣
Do they need to see themselves changing.⁣

Once they defined this, we explored how they could bring these actions into their daily life.⁣

And this is where it gets deeper.⁣

We looked at how some people did not have health in their top values.⁣

For them, being healthy will always feel like a struggle because other values keep winning their attention.⁣

Then we noticed the clients who were the most successful in the program.⁣

Every one of them had health as one of their top three values.⁣

That explained their results.⁣

When you value health at the highest level, it stops feeling like a chore.⁣

It becomes natural, effortless, and something you want to do.⁣

The same is true in business or in any other area of life.⁣

If you say you want success but your values do not support it, you will always sabotage yourself.⁣

When your values align with your goals, every action begins to feel like a choice that makes you more alive.⁣
