I fear I may have accidentally found my new excuse to eat chocolate… 👀🍫 not that I ever need one tbh…

BUT!

I was kindly gifted the Peak Chocolate Calm Bites from and I was absolutely here for the taste test!

I love that their recipe has all natural ingredients, gluten free, seed oil free, and artificial sweetener free.

I love that a treat can now be functional. Chocolate that has caffeine and guarana for mornings (great for adhd) and magnesium and zinc for the evenings. 👌🏻😴

This week I swapped out the nasty teflon non stick inner pot from my Russel Hobbs 11-in-1 multi-cooker, a much loved and well used appliance in my kitchen. This is something I’ve been wanting to do for a while! I’ve had this multi-cooker since before becoming more conscious about what I use in our home and I didn’t want to throw the whole thing out because of the inner pot.

So I went online, did some research and after a while I came across this stainless steel inner pot with the same dimensions. It fits really well. It’s just a bit tighter to close the lid as it’s a couple millimetres higher due to its thick base.

I’ve been using Minchins Milling- stone ground flour for most of this year now and I absolutely love it! Their flour is stoneground meaning the whole grain is milled slowly between stones, helping to retain more of the grain’s natural nutrients, flavour and goodness. 🌾

It makes the most beautiful, wholesome bread and I especially love using it for a nutritional sourdough the kind of bread that feels like it’s actually doing something good for you while still being delicious. 🤎

There’s just something special about baking with New Zealand milled flour that’s glyphosate free and knowing exactly what’s gone into your loaf. ✨

I don’t buy everything organic it gets too expensive and it’s also quite limiting at times so learning about the Dirty Dozen and Clean Fifteen completely changed how I shop.

Now I simply prioritise a few fruits and veggies and don’t stress about the rest. It feels like a much more realistic approach for our family and budget. 💛
