I took a mini break from my online business over the holidays…

No panic. No “omg everything will fall apart” thoughts 😅

Here’s the beautiful thing about building something aligned and sustainable —
👉 the business is still there
👉 the systems don’t disappear
👉 the internet doesn’t shut down
👉 and opportunities don’t run away just because you chose rest.

As a mum, nurse, and business owner, I’ve learned this the hard way:
Rest is not quitting.
Pausing is not failing.
Taking time with family is not being “unserious” about your goals.

I enjoyed the slow mornings, the laughs, the food, the memories 💛
And now I’m coming back recharged, clearer, and more grateful than ever.

It’s interesting how people often end up disliking the very thing they didn’t succeed at. 🩵

Recently, someone saw my ad, asked some questions… then ended the convo by offering another business because our business “didn’t work” for him.

And honestly? That’s not rare.
When people start, they’re ALL IN.
They see the freedom. The income. The dream. ✨

But when results don’t come fast enough, the story changes:
“The system didn’t work.”
“The model was the problem.”

Saying this with love 🤍
Most of the time, the system didn’t fail them—
they just never gave themselves a real chance to work it.

Life got busy.
Fear got loud.
Consistency slipped.

🌱 Growth needs patience
🌱 Success needs consistency
🌱 Breakthroughs come after the excitement fades

Before deciding something “didn’t work,” ask yourself gently:
Did I truly give myself the chance?

Because sometimes the vehicle was right—
we just didn’t stay in the driver’s seat long enough. 💚

After mass and Christmas carols, my sister and I ran into our business partners who are also sisters.

Simbang Gabi is a Filipino tradition of attending 9 Masses leading up to Christmas. It’s a time of faith, reflection, and showing up intentionally during the busy holiday season 🎄🙏

What made the moment extra special?
We weren’t in a meeting room.
We weren’t talking business.
We were there as parents, partners, and families first.

If your 9–5 gives you stability, peace of mind, and pays the bills — that’s a win. No shade, no guilt. 👏

12/12 will always hit different for me.
It’s the date my NZ nursing licence was granted back in 2012 — the day my whole NZ journey shifted. 🇳🇿💙

And yesterday… I got to do something that made my inner child squeal. I watched SB19 live! 🤩🎤
Imagine the girl who used to admire Backstreet Boys, N'SYNC, Westlife, 5ive — but never had the chance to see any of them — finally experiencing a concert she once only dreamed about. 🥹✨

It felt like a full circle moment.
Like a quiet “hey, younger me… we made it.” 💛

Becoming a mom changes everything… but it shouldn’t make you lose yourself.
We pour so much into our kids that sometimes we forget the girl we were before them — the one who loved music, dancing, cheesy boybands (hello 😂), and the thrill of doing something just for her.

Last night reminded me she’s still here.
And she deserves moments like this too. 🌟

12.12 will forever be special — not just for the career that changed my life, but now also for the memory that reminded me who I am outside of work and motherhood.

Keep giving your children love…
but don’t forget to give yourself a little magic too. ✨💛

My friends knew that I’m flying to AKL for the SB19 concert (yes, mama needs her p-pop kilig too 🤭).
One mom said…

“Buti pinayagan ka!”

And I was like:
“Oo, syempre pera ko naman yun… at minsan lang ‘to!” 😂

Here’s the thing —
As moms and partners, we give SO MUCH of ourselves every single day.
So when we finally do something for our own happiness, minsan naaamaze pa talaga ang mga tao… as if kailangan pa ng approval stamp.

Pero truth is:
A happy mama = a better mama.
And giving yourself tiny pockets of joy doesn’t make you selfish — it makes you human. 💛✨

So go ahead, buy the ticket, take the trip, enjoy the concert.
Life’s too short to always put yourself last.

Cheer for yourself the way you cheer for everyone else. 🌟

One person who saw my ad messaged me with these questions:

“Tinood gyud na makaincome ana? Maayo ba gyud na nga business? Honest lang nga tubag.”

And honestly… I get it.
If you’ve never tried online business before, normal kaayo ang doubt. Normal ang fear. Normal ang hesitation. We’ve all been there. 😊

Most of us grew up hearing the same script:
“Ang stable kay 9–5.”
“Ayaw anang online, basin scam.”
“Play it safe.”

But here’s the truth no one really talks about…
The world has changed — but our mindset hasn’t caught up.

We’re living in a digital age where people earn using just their phones 📱
…while still working full-time
…while raising kids
…while juggling life.

No magic. No “get rich quick.”
Just a proven system, automation, mentorship, and a business model that actually makes sense.

And yes — naa gyud income.
