Art Dannevirke 125 High Street.
Now 'Menz Shed' are present beside us with a wonderful display of their goods and Home made Mumma & Bebe soaps, creams etc...come and see, the shop is looking great.
We change the Artworks in our window every week... and our walls are pretty full of paintings also...something for everyone

While the photo isn't great because of reflections from the glass.... when you walk past, the paintings, which are changed each week, are clear to see.... well not these ones because 3 of them sold last week!!!!
Loving our new space. We have multiple people popping in every session for a variety of reasons and we love it!
We put the artist's cell phone numbers on the art price ticket visible in the window and people can contact them if they're interested in a piece ( this is working well) or pop in Mondays 10-12:30ish or Wednesdays 10-2:30

Great start at the new venue today. Artists happily attended to inspect the new space and share an opening morning tea. Loving the Gallery walls and High Str visibility with window display space.

We are opening Monday and Wednesday mornings from 10am til 12:30 currently.

Art Dannevirke is based in the town of Dannevirke but is a collective of artists from surrounding towns in the region. We primarily meet weekly to create together, with occasional workshops and events such as “Have-a-Go” days. Gallery wall space available (conditions apply).

Sessions operate on a user-pays basis of $2 per session. We follow an independent, self-managed approach—artists are expected to bring everything they need, including paints, drop cloths, water, food, and drinks etc and remove any rubbish you accumulate when you leave. This allows all participants to carry the load of keeping a clean and tidy space.

Please note: There are no brush cleaning facilities available at the site, although a toilet is provided.

At this point we will be open Monday and Wednesday Mornings 10am til 12:30pm.
Anyone is welcome to come along, introduce yourself and ask questions.

Also note: New Venue 125 High Street Dannevirke. Look for the paintings in the window. Our area is located directly behind that front window where the trestles are located. Opposite the antique shop.

Looking forward to starting our creative journey for 2025. This year we have relocated to another building...
New to Dannevirke, or new to creating and looking for an art group to join? You're most welcome!
Bring your project, art gear, drop cloths, food and drinks as we operate on a self sufficient basis. Or drop in and enquire more as to who we are and what we hope to get up to this year.

TIME: 1 - 4pm & each Wednesday thereafter.
