Happy Friday, sweet squad! If you walk into the middle of a room and throw a cup of flour, will you be able to retake everything and make it right again? No. You can try to sweep and clean, but it wonât be the same. The same goes for your words. Once they leave your mouth, you canât take them back. The damage, or healing, is already done. Thatâs the power your words carry. They can destroy or build. You choose the effect. Itâs your choice.
Like burnt cookies, once words are spoken harshly, we canât always undo the harm. You might try to smooth things over, but the taste remains changed. Speak with care. Words are meant to nourish. The most meaningful ones are those that feed others with love, hope, and joy. Speak Life! Letâs be intentional with our words. They leave a trace, so let it be a sweet one. Whatâs the kindest thing someone has ever said to you? Share it in the comments; your words might brighten someone elseâs day too.
