At the end of last year, I left my 8-year journey in Network Marketing.
Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would make this decision. It wasn't until I realized what it truly took to grow, expand, and build. Honestly, it wasn't freedom.
Why? Because you always need to be bringing in new people!! It takes months, I year's with your new person.
I witnessed a side of the industry that not many will see, yet so many have.
I've always built my business by helping customers get started, by enjoying the products and their results, and then assisting others.
Building something amazing alongside other incredible people, we created a beautiful community.
However, I also saw the less glamorous side of this business - the upkeep, the promises of making 10k months, which yes, some achieve but not many!
I never saw any of my personally enrolled individuals earn 10k months, only a few above.
That's why I only promoted $500 to 1k weeks because that was my regular income without bonuses.
Since leaving, I must admit, I've been exploring companies, their products, compensation plans, and how people are building their posts. To be honest, it doesn't excite me like it used to.
I miss it. But in reality it's because it's all I've ever been so passionate about helping people.
I know the hard work it takes to build a Network Marketing business. It's certainly not something I want to dedicate my energy to.
One thing I'll definitely take away from all those years is how to build my own business.
No upline. No company taking my hard-earned commissions. No subscriptions, no monthly fees, no recruitment, no relying on my team's subscriptions to get paid.
However, I did something cool.
Since purchasing the Roadmap aka the digital Course, I've employed myself at the start of this year, generating a 4, almost 5-figure income.
I work 5 hours a week on that business. The rest is my own time.
I get to log off when I'm home. The income we earn benefits my family, minus tax.
I'm not always on calls explaining this business. 😢
My message is this: Don't feel like you have to join network marketing just to earn money or get caught up in the hype.
Consider these facts:
1. High Turnover Rates: Network marketing businesses often experience high turnover rates, with many representatives leaving within their first year due to the challenging nature of the industry.
2. Limited Earning Potential: While some individuals achieve success, many earn modest incomes or struggle due to market competitiveness.
3. Dependency on Recruitment: Network marketing often focuses on recruiting new members, leading to an emphasis on recruitment over product sales.
While some find success in network marketing, it's crucial to weigh these facts and reasons before joining to ensure it aligns with your goals and expectations.
The skills I've developed in the digital space have empowered me to create my own path and employment opportunities. By leveraging these skills and knowledge, I've taken control of my career and found fulfillment and autonomy.
Through perseverance, adaptability, and embracing new challenges, I've discovered the possibilities of creating my own employment and thriving in the online world.
Be brave enough to know your worth.
