Orange alert! Early details of KTM’s upcoming RC450 have surfaced through homologation filings in China, offering a first look at a new middleweight sportbike closely related to the CFMoto 450SR S.

While the RC450 shares its core platform with the CFMoto, KTM has clearly worked to give the bike a distinct identity. The most obvious change is at the front, where the RC450 adopts a sharper nose with vertically stacked twin LED headlights. Fairing-mounted winglets add a more aggressive, big-bike appearance, while revised bodywork, KTM’s trademark orange paint and RC450 graphics help separate it visually from its CFMoto sibling.

Honda has rolled out updates for the CB750 Hornet in global markets for 2026, bringing new paint options and the option of its latest E-Clutch technology.

The update focuses on added convenience rather than a full redesign. Buyers can now choose from several new colour schemes, including combinations such as Graphite Black with a red frame, Wolf Silver paired with Iridium Grey, Goldfinch Yellow with silver accents, and a Matt Jeans Blue option alongside Matt Ballistic Black. Beyond these fresh finishes, the CB750 Hornet’s sharp and aggressive styling remains unchanged.

For riders who find the current 1390 Super Duke R or Super Duke R Evo a little too sensible, KTM may once again be preparing a sharper, lighter RR version. While the Austrian brand has not officially confirmed the bike, several reports point to meaningful upgrades over the already uncompromising standard models.

The Super Duke RR badge is not a new addition. KTM last used it on the 1290 Super Duke RR, a limited-run machine that took the super naked concept to its limits. That bike was stripped back and reworked for performance, losing 9kg to tip the scales at around 180kg, while retaining a headline power figure of 180bhp. Weight savings came largely from carbon fibre components and lighter wheels, backed up by top-shelf suspension from WP’s Apex Pro range.

With Suzuki’s GSX-8S currently a bargain at $13,999 + ORC thanks to their current Suzukifest promotion, we look back at the Aussie launch where we got to test the fun middleweight on the road and the racetrack. And while it might not chase big horsepower numbers — it certainly showed that it nails the fundamentals.
A brilliant 776cc parallel twin, sharp handling and an easy-to-ride chassis make this one of the most enjoyable middleweight nakeds you can get.

Moto Morini has confirmed the launch timeline for its fully faired Corsaro Sport, more than three years after the model was first revealed. While final specifications are still to be announced, the Italian brand says the middleweight supersport will arrive in global markets by mid-2026.

The Corsaro Sport is positioned as the most performance-focused model in the Corsaro line-up, which also includes the upright Corsaro and touring-oriented Corsaro GT. All three share the same engine, with the Sport using Moto Morini’s 749cc dry-sump 90-degree V-twin. The engine features a MotoGP-style counter-rotating crankshaft and produces a claimed 94.7bhp at 9,500rpm, with 74Nm of torque available from 7,000rpm.

We got it right! A few months ago, we told you of BMW's plans with its widely successful 310 range. And now, BMW has confirmed that its long-running 310 motorcycle range is nearing the end of its life, with a new twin-cylinder 450 platform set to take over.

The new engine, already seen in the F450GS, will underpin a wider family of models. The new 450 range will be designed in Germany and built in partnership with Indian manufacturing giant TVS. The transition to the larger-capacity platform is already underway, led by the launch of the F450GS. Next in line is expected to be a replacement for the G310R naked bike. While the fully faired G310RR is not sold in Europe, BMW currently offers it in India, where it is based on the TVS Apache RR310.

Would you like to see a roadster or faired version after the F450 GS?
