A portfolio is something we’re often asked for, so very lucky for me, my wife’s on holiday and had just enough time to pull one together on our website while I supervised 😉 - a link is below.

The orders have been coming thick and fast, but I’ve managed to carve out a moment to get stuck into some commission mahi toi - with my son beside me, throwing in a few helpful tips along the way 🤍

We’ve moved to Ōtāne and are busy getting our gallery set up. It’ll take a bit to get everything up and running, but we’re super excited for this next chapter!
With all the commission mahi and gallery setup keeping us flat-out, we’ve decided to say goodbye to the Napier Sunday Market. BUT we’ll still pop up at the odd one-off market. 🙌

🎨 CUSTOM DESIGNS - Terms and Conditions 🧐

Ngā mihi whānau!

As I mentioned earlier, we’ve had many requests for custom mahi toi, so we thought it was the perfect time to share our Terms & Conditions to help everyone understand how our process works and what to expect when commissioning a piece.

TP Illustration and Design – Custom Work Terms & Conditions

Waitlist & Timeframes
There is usually a 2–3 week wait before we begin new commissions, as we work through projects in the order they are booked. We will keep you updated on expected start dates.

Creative Process
Creative mahi takes time and cannot be rushed. Each piece is carefully developed to honour the kaupapa and vision of the work. Deadlines will be discussed but must allow adequate time for the creative process.

Payment
A deposit of $200 (unless otherwise agreed) is required to confirm your commission.
The balance is due upon completion, before final files or artwork are released.
Payment is required in full once an invoice has been issued.

Revisions
A limited number of revisions are included in the process. Major changes outside the agreed scope may incur additional costs.

Usage Rights
The commissioned artwork is for the agreed purpose. TP Illustration and Design retains the right to display the work for portfolio and promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed.

Reproduction & Copyright
All designs remain the intellectual property of TP Illustration and Design. They may not be copied, reproduced, altered, resold, or used for purposes outside the agreed scope without prior written consent. Additional licensing may be arranged if required.

Communication
We provide updates during the process and welcome your feedback at key stages. Clear and timely communication ensures the best outcome for your mahi toi.
