🔴RED warning in Tasman now🔴

Tasman's bracing for life threatening weather.

MetService has issued a red heavy rain warning for the Tasman District as the third week of rain hits the region.

Nelson-Tasman's under a state of emergency and have activated their emergency operations centre.

Mayor Tim King says there' a sense of nervousness.

He says it's better to be prepared, especially on the already compromised roads.
