I NEVER THOUGHT I'D GET TO WRITE THIS... BUT I AM EXPECTING! ❤

If you've followed along with my journey over on (on instagram or Tiktok), you'll know just how much this means to me.

For years, I wondered if becoming a mum would ever be possible. Living with Stage 4 Endometriosis, going through surgeries, pain, fertility struggles and being told I may have difficulty conceiving naturally made that dream feel incredibly uncertain at times.

There were so many moments I tried not to get my hopes up because I was scared of being disappointed again.
So now to be able to say I AM EXPECTING feels almost surreal.

This is something I dreamed about for years. Something I wasn't always sure I would get to experience. And now, somehow, I am living it!

With that comes a little update about Coffee & Cramps Podcast.

You may have noticed things have been a little quieter around here lately. And honestly, there's a very good reason for that. Right now, I need to put my health, my pregnancy and myself first.

Pregnancy alongside stage 4 endo comes with its own challenges, and right now I feel like I need to protect my peace and give myself space to focus on what matters most. I don't want to put extra stress or pressure on myself during such an important chapter. I want to slow down, look after myself and my health and truly be present for this pregnancy. Something that I have spent so many years dreaming about.

So after talking it through with my co-host Bianca McPeake, we've decided to give Coffee & Cramps a little pause.

And I want to be really clear - this is not us walking away from the podcast.

Coffee & Cramps means far too much to us for that!

There is still so much we want to talk about. So many stories that deserve to be shared. So many women who deserve to feel heard. And so many conversations around Endometriosis, PCOS/PMOS, fertility, women's health and everything in between that still need a space.

That is and always has been the reason behind Coffee & Cramps Podcast, and that hasn't changed.

If anything, this chapter has given me even more lived experience, perspective and stories that I know I'll want to bring to the podcast when the time is right.

This pregnancy doesn't mean the story ends here. If anything, it gives Coffee & Cramps another chapter to explore. There are still so many parts of this journey we want to talk about, experiences we want to share, stories we want to hear and conversations we want to have through Coffee & Cramps.

For now, I'm simply giving myself permission to slow down! My priority is being present for myself, present for my family and present for the little life I've spent so many years dreaming about.

So Coffee & Cramps Podcast isn't going anywhere. We are just taking a little breather!

Thank you for being here, for listening, for sharing your stories and for supporting us along the way.

When the time is right, we will be back! Because there are still so many stories to tell, conversations to have and plenty of things that are left unsaid.

And trust me...

COFFEE AND CRAMPS PODCAST STILL HAS PLENTY TO SAY... ❤☕

With love Tae ###

There’s been a really interesting development in women’s health recently!

PCOS has now been renamed to better reflect what it actually is. A complex hormonal and metabolic condition, rather than something solely defined by the ovaries. This is a really interesting shift, and potentially a positive one for women’s health.

A lot of these conditions have historically been labelled in ways that can feel overly simplistic, and at times even misleading. That can have a real impact on how they’re understood, diagnosed, and treated. PCOS is a clear example, the previous name tended to frame it as primarily reproductive, when in reality it can affect multiple systems throughout the body.

It really highlights how powerful language is in medicine. The way something is named can influence everything from clinical awareness, to research focus, to how validated people feel in their symptoms.

It also speaks to a wider issue in women’s health. How long it can take for complex, multi-system conditions to be fully recognized and understood.

It’ll be interesting to see how much of this is reflected in actual patient care, and whether it helps drive better awareness, education, and care for those living with PCOS.

Hi, I’m Bee 🤍

I’m the other face behind Coffee & Cramps, and when I’m not behind the mic, you’ll usually find me behind the lens at (on instagram). For years, my work has been about capturing the most beautiful milestones from motherhood to newborns, and families. My passion has always been about empowerment; seeing women through my lens in their strongest, most beautiful moments is what I love most. But while I was busy empowering others, I was navigating a personal health journey that was anything but clear.

For a long time, I lived with symptoms that didn’t quite add up.
I was told I had “symptoms of PCOS,” but that was where the conversation ended.

No formal diagnosis! No guidance! No roadmap!

Like so many of us, I was left without real answers or guidance on what PCOS was actually doing to me.Now, as a mama of one, I’m ready to close that gap. I’m finally starting the journey to a formal diagnosis because I’m done being left in the dark by a lack of medical direction. I’m done with the “guessing” that so many women have to do when it comes to their own bodies.

Coffee & Cramps is where my love for empowering women through my lens meets my mission to find the truth about our health. We’re done being told to just “wait and see.” We’re done with the silence.

If you’ve been living in the “undiagnosed” gap, grab a coffee—you’re not navigating this alone anymore. 🌸☕️

With love,
Bee x

Hi, I'm Tae🤍

I'm one of the faces behind the Coffee & Cramps podcast, but before I was a co-host, I was just a girl trying to survive her own body.

My journey with endometriosis officially started at 17. I had the diagnosis on paper, but that was where the help ended. I wasn't given the information to understand what was actually happening to me.
Instead, I was shrugged off; my "painful periods" simply had a medical term now. So, I just carried on as normal.

And for over a decade, I did just that. I "carried on”.

It wasn't until I reached my 30s that the true cost of being shrugged off hit home. I was diagnosed with Stage 4 endometriosis and told I had only a 25% chance of conceiving naturally. After 12 years of just
"carrying on," my body was finally speaking a truth that could no longer be ignored.

(on Instagram) started as my safe space. A corner of the internet where I could finally share the reality of my journey. But as I shared, I started to see you.

I soon realised that my story wasn't unique; it was all of our stories. I saw thousands of you who had also been dismissed, also been shrugged off, and also been left to navigate the dark alone.

Coffee & Cramps came from that realization ☕️🌸
We didn't just want a podcast; we wanted a movement.

A space where we can speak openly about women's health without being minimized. A place where lived experience is the authority, and where "it's just a period" is a sentence that's never allowed.

For me, this is about making sure no one else has to spend 12 years wondering if their pain is real. If you're here, welcome. You aren't being shrugged off anymore.

You're part of this journey too ❤️.

With Love,
Tae x
