📢 A Little Gallery Update 🎨

We’re making a small change to our gallery hours as we’ve been incredibly fortunate to have a growing amount of commission mahi, including some large mural projects that are taking us off-site.

Since opening our doors, we have been absolutely blown away by the number of people who have visited, purchased our mahi toi, and supported what we do. ❤️ The response has honestly exceeded what we could have imagined, and we are especially grateful to our Ōtāne community for welcoming us so warmly and getting behind our new gallery.

We’re also excited to introduce several guest artists who will be showcasing their mahi in our gallery - keep an eye out as we introduce them! 👀

We're BACK at **Armageddon Palmerston North** for Day 2! 🙌

Day 1 was absolutely incredible - thank you to everyone who stopped by, had a chat, supported us, and picked up some of our gear. You guys absolutely smashed our tee sales yesterday! 🔥

We've been busy restocking our tees and topping up some of our artwork, so if you missed out yesterday, now's your chance!

🥷 NINJA – VERSION ONE 🥷

The first warrior has arrived.

Introducing Ninja - Version One, the beginning of our Whare of Ninjas series.

Inspired by the discipline, patience, and precision of the ninja, this original artwork is framed with bold Māori-inspired design elements that represent identity, protection, and the journey of continual growth. Every detail reflects the quiet strength of a warrior who leads with focus, resilience, and purpose.

This is just the beginning. The Whare of Ninjas series will continue to grow, with each new release bringing its own unique story, style, and expression of the warrior spirit through contemporary Māori artistic expression.

📢 Gallery Opening Hours 📢

As we settle into our new gallery space, we're going to trial these opening hours over the coming weeks.

Our gallery will be open until 5:00pm each day. However, we understand that many people travel through Ōtāne on their way home from work and may not be able to make it in before then.

If you'd like to pop in after 5:00pm to pick up an order, browse our artwork, or purchase something you've had your eye on, simply send us a Facebook message and we'll do our best to open up for you.

We're also excited about what's ahead for the gallery. Over the coming months, we'll be hosting guest artists in our space, creating opportunities to showcase a range of talented creatives and their mahi. Watch this space for more announcements.

We are also incredibly excited to be part of the Hawke's Bay Arts Trail and look forward to welcoming visitors from across the region and beyond into our gallery to experience the artwork, stories, and creativity on display. As a new gallery space in Ōtāne, it's a privilege to be included alongside so many talented artists and makers from throughout Hawke's Bay, and we can't wait to share our mahi with you.

Please note that if we're attending a market or event during the weekend, the flags may be down while we're away sharing our mahi elsewhere.

These flags don't just say we're open.

They represent a dream realised, built with aroha, grit, and endless mahi.

We're open -.but, as always, the mahi continues. More designs, more commissioned work, and the return of painted artworks. We can't wait to share what's next.

Today at 6am, our whānau and friends walked alongside us as we blessed our gallery.

There are moments in life that remind you just how fortunate you are. Looking around this morning, surrounded by the people who continue to support and believe in us, was one of those moments.

Their encouragement and quiet faith in what we're creating helps carry us through, especially during the times when we're deep in the thick of it and the finish line feels a long way off.

To everyone who stood with us this morning, thank you. Your presence meant more than words can say. We are deeply grateful to have you walking this journey with us. 🤍
