Singing group... starting Monday July 22nd.. term time. Community vibes, all welcome even if you think you can't sing. Warm ups then a new song each week. $100 for the 10 week term. Wai Ata Peace Day Nov 5th 4pm
At the Weavers Whare, end of Tilley Road, Paekākāriki
Kia ora all, we have some pretty cool acts for our Peace Day on Saturday Musicians, poets and spoken word. If you want to participate in the open mic you can register on the day. Or message us. There are activities for the kids. We have a delicious vegetarian food truck Good Times Kitchen. The usual BBQ kai so bring some cash, change. There will be a Koha bucket to raise funds for the Wai Ata after school programme next year. Bring a blanket, chairs, bean bags and good vibes. Will update with more soon.

Yay, Wai Ata is back for another term, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. We have a few new things planned which we’ll try and keep as a surprise for the parents, if that is possible. Thanks again to Bavesh for the milo and kai. Also our programme isn’t funded meaning the time put in is voluntary. So if you are able to donate it will be much appreciated. Details below. Mauriora! 🎤 My latest donation is a mic and sound proofing for the awesome Wai Ata studio which offers creative opportunities in Paekākāriki.

🎶 You can hire a time to record your music and kids are able to play music for free after-school.

Big thanks to The Paekakariki Community Board who helped fund this beauty for the studio. This Motu interface is a digital desk for recording straight into the computer. And its massive!
