🔥 PLAYER HIGHLIGHT 🔥

Meet Jermaine King, who is proudly representing South Auckland Māori Rugby League for the second consecutive year.

Jermaine is a strong defensive player with an explosive attacking game. Coming from a rugby union background, he has made a seamless transition to league and has excelled in his role at centre. His work ethic, determination, and willingness to learn have seen him continue to grow as a player each season.

Jermaine is definitely one to watch as he continues to develop his game and reach his potential. Supporting and developing our rangatahi both on and off the field remains a key focus of our programme, and Jermaine is a great example of that journey.

Yesterday our U13 and U14 teams had a valuable pre-tournament hit-out. 💪🏽🏉

He mihi nui to our hosts, Hokianga Storm / Te Mahurehure Storm, for your warm manaakitanga and for making the day possible.

A huge thank you to all our supporters and whānau who came along to cheer the teams on, and a special mihi to the coaches and managers from both clubs for all the hard work behind the scenes to bring everything together
These pre-tournament games are about more than just rugby league. They give our teams the opportunity to measure where they're at, build confidence, and strengthen the whanaungatanga that connects our communities both on and off the field.
