After a wild storm rolled through the Nelson/Tasman region last month, most mountain bike parks were forced to shut down due to flooding and slips. But not Cable Bay!
The trails at Cable Bay Adventure Park held strong — tacky, fast, and ready to rip.

With the sun finally breaking through, a few workmates and I clocked out early and hit the dirt for an epic afternoon session. From fast-flowing runs to forested singletrack, we hit trails like Broken Gnome, Rainbow Unicorn, C.C.R, and Veto — and they did not disappoint.

[Video] A few months back, I grabbed a Harley-Davidson Sport Glide from the line-up at work and hit the road to the West Coast.
I strapped on a couple of action cams and captured the ride, from Richmond through Murchison and Lyell, finishing up in the seaside town of Granity.
This 20-minute video is packed with info on the bike, some top spots to stop for pies, coffee, and accommodation, plus loads of stunning scenery along the way.

Get ready to witness an adrenaline-pumping race at the 2024 Nelson Supercross Champs held at the Rat Track in Nelson!
Watch as Mitch Parnwell ( #267) on his Yamaha YZ450F navigates through the pack, clinching the top spot in a nail-biting finish. With only 0.03 seconds separating first and second place, this race had spectators on the edge of their seats until the very end.

Race Highlights:
🏆 1st Place: Mitch Parnwell ( #267) - Yamaha YZ450F - 6:43.79
🥈 2nd Place: Andrew Emms ( #23) - Yamaha YZ250F - 6:43.82
🥉 3rd Place: Logan Wassell ( #706) - KTM 125SX - 6:52.12

Relive the action from the 2024 Nelson Supercross Championships at the Rat Track, held on December 14th & 15th.

Watch as Kiwi rider Justin McDonald dominates on his Honda CR450F, with Mitch Norris, Kawasaki KX450 (AUS) and Marshall Phillips, Yamaha YZ450F (NZ) hot on his tail, battling for the lead.

My battery on the drone was pushed to it's limits and couldn't catch the finish, but Marshall Phillips snuck up the inside on the final corner for the overall win!!
I'm soo gutted to have missed that epic win.
