🎬 Ngā mihi nui!

Big thanks to everyone who came along to the Rotorua Content Industry Hui last night at The Rusty Bros — what a vibe! ✨

It was good to connect and reconnect and hear what everyone’s working on (or dreaming up next!). Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting out, your presence made the night something special.

Big thanks to Steambox Films for hosting 🙌🏾

There's so much goodness in our rongoā and when you have whānau who are dedicated to bringing a resource like Mamaku to the surface and educating the world about its powerful properties, you realize how lucky we are as Māori to have such a strong innate connection to the land.

We follow founders Tāne and Clare Bradley as they continue a family legacy that began with a small seaweed processing factory.

Through partnerships with farmers, researchers, and iwi, AgriSea is showing how sustainable seaweed harvesting can strengthen food production while restoring ecosystems.

"It’s about pausing to connect with te taiao, with the world of wairua and the feeling that comes from hard physical work on the whenua. Bananas also offer the possibility of a new infant food, designed to grow a healthy gut microbiome and set babies up for a healthy future. It just goes to show that what’s good for the body is also good for the soul"

🎬Director: Kim Webby

👉🏽Watch Home, Land & Sea tonight 7.30pm on Whakaata Māori, featuring our Northland whānau growing bananas on their whenua
