What a beautiful night and beautiful site to see our Tamure coming back into the Matatā straights area. I’ve been conditioned over winter to assume this was a very small kahawai as it didn’t put up any resistance, just under 40cm it must have been eating in its sleep. I was surprised and super stoked to see the shape of a snapper coming through the white wash. Not a monster but good eater and good sign fishing is picking up. Consistency was key

The FishTok NZ 2025 Whanau hit the FFN once again to come together for a beautiful night on the sand and wharf, west to east. Every rod went off 🌊🎣 and every belly was full with my Fams Sophie and Rata cooking everyone a massive kai ❤️🔥. Sister Starlia O'callaghan and Lone sharing there local and bring the best salad 👌🏼 Steve from Taipa Tackle taking us to a honey hole and sharing some knowledge 🫡 We are creating connections through casting and memories to last forever.

The word Adventurer is a Noun, the word adventure is a verb and this is what I do to grow, to be uncomfortable, push myself and feel alive. Nothing is the same each time., but when I adventure boy do I love the test. From relaxing on the beach to being out in oceans rolling swell or getting half lost in a bush. And you never know what your capable of until you step out and find your adventure. Mad Love
