Grape Goddess Instant Gels! 💜

I’ve had these on for 3 weeks now and they’ve held up really well. No cracking or chipping, minimal lifting and none have popped off.

I got pretty excited about the new Instant Gels Press Ons from GLAMRDiP ™ as I haven’t been able to play with Chrome and Cats Eye products in a LONG time (they often require UV Gel to work properly).

Being allergic to Gel products (even the hypoallergenic formulas), I’m always interested in finding alternatives that last. I’ve had no reaction to these so far, which is a big deal for me.

I loved this inspo I came across and, knowing it was likely done with UV gel, I was still determined to see if I could recreate it with dip! 😍

The gold acrylic nail art pen did dull quite a bit when I applied the Clear over it, but I’m still really happy with how these turned out!

GLAMRDiP ™ products used

Method:
💚 2x layers of Khaki on full-cover extensions, followed by 1x layer of Angel Energy.

💚 Pointer: Dipped just the tip in 1x Khaki + 1x Angel Energy. The rest of the nail bed was 2x Lucid.

💚 Ring finger: 2x Lucid, then used a thin nail art brush with Base to create the pattern before dipping in Khaki + Angel Energy.

💚 Clear over all nails to encapsulate, then Seal, Buff, Seal.

💚 Used gold nail art liners for the detailing, then encapsulated with Clear.

💚 Seal, Buff, Seal, followed by 2x layers of Glow.

💚 I used clear, almost-full-cover extensions.

I’m pretty happy with how close I managed to get to the original inspo without using UV gel!

Nail mail 🥹💅🏼

I’ve had a little delivery from GLAMRDiP ™, so let’s unbox the new Crystalline Collection and their NEW Instant Gels.

The 12 new dip shades are:

And then there are the Instant Gels… 👀

I’m actually really curious to try these because they’re not your typical plastic press-ons. They’re made with six layers of pre-cured gel, and there are some finishes available that we just don’t really have good options for in dip yet — especially things like chrome and cat eye.

Dip technology has come a LONG way, but I’ve found that some of those effects still don’t perform or last particularly well in dip form. So I’m interested to see how these compare once I actually put them on.

There are 30+ styles to choose from, too, which is probably going to make choosing one significantly harder 😂

Also, just to be transparent — GLAMRDiP regularly sends me products to try and share with you guys. I’m not affiliated with the brand, and as always, I’ll give you my honest opinion once I’ve actually put these to the test.

DIY Dip Powder Aura Nails!

Not gonna lie. These took like 4 hours but it was so worth it! 😅

GLAMRDiP ™ - Colours used:
Thumb - fairytale, pillow talk, paradise
Pointer - fairytale, cotton candy
Third - buttercup, aurora
Ring - fairytale, pillow talk, paradise
Pinky - cotton candy, buttercup

Line work - Glamrdip white nail art pen

Method:
💜 To create soft blends between each colour or aura work I used fluffy eyeshadow brushes to tap colour over at a height so the powder would disperse finely.
💜 I used a total of 2 layers of colour on each nail + a layer of Clear.
💜 Sealed, buffed/shaped, Sealed.
💜 Did nail art with pen - then a layer of Clear.
💜 Sealed, buffed/shaped, Sealed.
💜 2x layers of Glow

🩵 Used full cover clear soft gel nail extensions in medium almond.

DIY Dip Powder Nails using the new ✨ Powder Room Collection ✨ from GLAMRDiP.

Shades used from thumb:
🌺 Lipstick Check
💙 Cobolt Gem
👗 Secret Lagoon
🍋‍🟩 Lime Chiffon
🩵 Powdered Sky

The method:
1. 2x layers of colour, followed by 1x layer of Clear to encapsulate shimmer layers before buffing
2. Seal, Buff, Seal again.
3. Next, apply charms, pearls, and caviar beads with quick-dry nail glue
4. Apply Seal over everything
5. Finish with 2x layers of Glow

A moody red DIY dip set that fits right into the The Devil Wears Prada 2 release - because clearly we’re back in our “don’t bore me with your excuses” era.

I used 3 of the new GLAMRDiP Red Edit shades (which sold out fast 🫣 but I hear they are making a comeback 👀)

Shades:
* Bordeaux Nights (thumb + middle)
* Hot Gossip (index + pinky)
* Garnet Games (ring)
* GD red liner for detailing

Method:
1. 2x layers of each shade
3. Seal, buff, Seal
4. Add nail art to thumb + middle finger
5. Encapsulate all nails with base + clear dip
6. Seal, buff, Seal again
7. Finish with 2x glow for that glossy finish
