Wake ⏰️ Up - Be Exceptional - Repeat x

18. 🎁 THE LITTLE PRIZE THAT MADE SOMEONE’S DAY

Mia walked through the Vortex just looking around when suddenly her name was called…

“YOU’VE WON!” 🎉

She couldn’t believe it. A little giveaway, a big smile, and a memory made. Sometimes the smallest surprises create the biggest happiness ❤️

19. 🚚 THE NEW CART DREAM

Every morning, Tama pushed his old cart into the market and dreamed of something bigger.

Then one week… he arrived with a brand new cart shining in the sunlight ✨

The stallholders cheered because everyone knew — behind that cart was a lot of hard work, passion and belief.

20. 🧋 THE BUBBLE TEA ADVENTURE

Ella walked past the new stall and stopped.

“What’s that?” she asked.

A colourful drink with bubbles dancing at the bottom caught her eye. 🧋

“One try,” she said…

Ten minutes later she was telling everyone, “You have to taste this!” 😂

21. 👟 THE SHOES THAT LIT UP THE NIGHT

Little Josh walked into the market wearing the coolest shoes anyone had ever seen.

Every step flashed with lights ✨

People stopped and smiled as he walked around saying, “Look at my shoes!”

For one little moment, he became the Vortex superstar ⭐

22. 👋 THE GOODBYE THAT WASN’T REALLY GOODBYE

As the market packed down, everyone started saying…

“See you next week!”

There were hugs, waves and laughs across the carpark.

Because at the Vortex, goodbye never really means goodbye… it just means “until next time” ❤️

23. 🍔 THE SMELL THAT STOPPED EVERYONE

Jake was walking past the market when a smell floated through the air.

He stopped.

He turned around.

“Where is that coming from?” 😂

Five minutes later he was holding the biggest plate of kai and wondering why he didn’t come earlier.

24. 🌱 THE FIRST DAY

Lani stood behind her little stall feeling nervous.

“What if nobody buys anything?” she whispered.

Then someone stopped, smiled and bought something.

“Thank you for supporting me,” she said.

That one customer gave her the confidence to come back again.

25. 🌙 WHEN THE VORTEX CAME ALIVE

As the sun went down, the lights switched on.

The music started.

Families wandered through, friends laughed, and stallholders shared stories.

For a few hours, the carpark became more than a place…

It became a little world of its own ✨

The Vortex — Episode 17: The Cultural Festival Night Market 🌏🎶

Tonight, The Vortex was glowing brighter than ever.

The sounds of music filled the air.

The colours of different cultures decorated the market.

Families gathered to share food, traditions, stories and celebrations.

The Vortex watched as people learned something new from each other.

A new flavour.

A new song.

A new story.

Children danced. Elders shared wisdom. Friends celebrated together.

“Different cultures, one community,” whispered The Vortex.

Because the magic of Tokoroa wasn’t just found in the lights, the stalls, or the food…

It was found in the people who came together.

And as the night ended, The Vortex knew this was a celebration that would stay in everyone’s hearts.

The Vortex — Episode 16: The New Friends Night Market 🤝✨

The Vortex loved seeing familiar faces every week…

But tonight, there were new faces arriving through the gates.

A new stallholder nervously set up their table.

“Will people like what I make?” they wondered.

A customer stopped and smiled.

“Wow, I’ve never seen this before!”

A conversation started.

Then another.

Soon, the new stallholder wasn’t feeling new anymore.

They had found neighbours, supporters, and friends.

Across the market, people from different backgrounds shared food, stories, laughs and kindness.

The Vortex smiled.

“That’s what a community is,” it said.

“Not just a place you visit…

A place where you belong.”

The Vortex — Episode 15: The Slow Night Market 🌙

The Vortex looked across the market.

The lights were on. The music was playing. The stalls were ready…

But tonight was quieter than usual.

“Where is everyone?” wondered The Vortex.

The food trucks still cooked with love. The makers still displayed their creations. The stallholders still smiled and greeted every person who walked through.

Then something beautiful happened.

A family stopped for a chat.

A customer discovered a new favourite meal.

A stallholder shared a story with another stallholder.

And slowly, the night began to glow.

The Vortex realised something important…

A market isn’t only measured by crowds.

It is measured by connections.

Because even on the quiet nights, friendships are growing, dreams are being built, and the heart of the community is still beating.

The Vortex whispered, “Every market night has its own magic.”

The Vortex — Episode 14: The Rainy Night Market 🌧️✨

The clouds rolled in over, and the rain began tapping on the rooftops.

“Maybe everyone will stay home tonight,” whispered a little voice inside The Vortex.

But then something magical happened…

One by one, the lights started glowing. The food trucks fired up their grills, the smell of delicious kai filled the air, and the sound of laughter travelled through the rain.

Families arrived with umbrellas, children splashed through puddles, and stallholders smiled as they welcomed everyone in.

“The weather doesn’t decide our community,” said The Vortex. “Our people do.”

Under gazebos and beside warm food stalls, strangers became friends, stories were shared, and the rainy night became one to remember.

Because sometimes the best memories are made when the weather isn’t perfect.

And The Vortex knew… the market spirit shines brightest when the skies are grey!

🌪️ THE VORTEX STORIES – EPISODE 13: “FOUR WINDS OF THE MARKET”
A strange hum rolled through the township that morning. Not loud… but alive.

The kind of sound that makes people look up and feel like something is about to change.

And it had.

The Vortex had split itself into four drifting currents across the market grounds.

Four winds. Four stories. Four chances to bring people back together.

THE VORTEX – Episode 12:
The Marshmallow ☁️ Cloud 🌪️

It started with one tiny pink Marshmallow floating through the market.

Toko the Kiwi looked up.

"That's strange... Marshmallow doesn't usually fly by itself."

As the little cloud drifted towards The Vortex, it was gently pulled into the swirling light. Moments later...

P**F!

Out burst giant clouds of fluffy Marshmallow in every colour imaginable—pink, blue, purple, rainbow, even shimmering gold!

Children laughed as the sweet clouds floated just above their heads, while adults couldn't resist smiling at the memories of fairs and market days gone by.

Then an old note fluttered out of The Vortex. It read:

"The sweetest moments aren't made from sugar... they're made from sharing them together."

One by one, families grabbed a yummy Marshmallow, friends took selfies, and strangers became friends over a simple sweet treat.

As quickly as it had appeared, The Vortex settled back into silence... leaving behind only happy smiles and the scent of warm sugar in the air.
