We have one more fundraising show to squeeze in before our main event at Labour Weekend . . . and we're super pumped for this one! We will be showcasing an awesome line up of fantastic young performers including . . .
*2025 Junior Overall Gold Guitar Winner - Cleo Fitzgerald from Lyttleton.
*2024 Sun City Junior Overall Winner - Liam Keating from Pegasus.
*2025 Intermediate Overall Gold Guitar Winner & 2024 Sun City Intermediate Winner - Maddison Connor from Nelson.
*2023 Sun City Junior Overall Winner & 2024 Original Song Winner - Maggie Quinn from Takaka.

* Special guest appearance from Tapawera Legend - Zac Griffith 🔥

Plus many more wonderful local performers, all backed by a talented youth band, with special guest youth comperes hosting the afternoon.

Our next Fundraising event is coming up fast - and it's set to be a heap of fun . . . Sun City Quiz Night 2025! (at McCashins Taproom 660 Main Rd Stoke)
Get together your team of 6-10 members. Dress up in your best western get up (optional) BUT we'll have prizes for the best dressed team 🤠

Very sad to hear of Barry Crofts passing today 😞.
We fondly remember our 1985 Overall Winner as a charasmatic performer with a rich golden voice.
Barry is pictured below on the left in his white suit, alongside our other first 9 Senior Overall Sun City Winners at our 10th Anniversary celebration.

Woooohooo - the wait is over - 2025 Entries open tomorrow! 😁Please be aware that although entries officially close on October 1st - we will be forced to close sooner if we reach the maximum number of songs we can run before then. (This has been the case in 2023 & 2024 - so don't delay folks 😊)
Also a friendly reminder that your entry will not be officially registered until we receive your online payment.

Please spread the word that our Renwick Show is still going ahead tomorrow. This decision has been made after much consultation, and though we understand numbers will be down now - we are going to make the best of it and still have a great afternoon of music together. So please tell all your friends.
Raffles will be available and a complimentary half-time cuppa.
